Selecting a Nozzle Size

As summer approaches we have started to have an increasing amount of questions about choosing the correct nozzle size for your water mister. We are in the middle of creating a chart to help you decide what nozzle size is best for you, but until then here is some advice.

If your looking to cool a large area such as a deck or patio, you will want to get a medium to large size nozzle. The larger the nozzle, the bigger the area that will be cooled in a shorter amount of time.

If your looking to use the mister for personal use (such as keeping you cool when you sun tan) then you will want a small nozzle so that you don't get drenched with water. That's why our handheld misters come standard with the smallest size nozzle we offer.

Everyone has a different water pressure so that's why we have so many nozzle choices. For example our smallest nozzle produces 0.63gph of water at 40PSI. That same nozzle produces 1.00gph of water at 100PSI. You can see the big difference in the flow rate just within 60PSI.

Always remember, our nozzles show the flow rates in GALLONS OF WATER PER HOUR (gph). As long as your garden hose produces at least 40PSI of water, any of our nozzles will work for you.

As always if you still have any questions on our water misters or which size nozzle would be best for you, please do not hesitate to contact us!
