Selecting a Nozzle Size

As summer approaches we have started to have an increasing amount of questions about choosing the correct nozzle size for your water mister. We are in the middle of creating a chart to help you decide what nozzle size is best for you, but until then here is some advice.

If your looking to cool a large area such as a deck or patio, you will want to get a medium to large size nozzle. The larger the nozzle, the bigger the area that will be cooled in a shorter amount of time.

If your looking to use the mister for personal use (such as keeping you cool when you sun tan) then you will want a small nozzle so that you don't get drenched with water. That's why our handheld misters come standard with the smallest size nozzle we offer.

Everyone has a different water pressure so that's why we have so many nozzle choices. For example our smallest nozzle produces 0.63gph of water at 40PSI. That same nozzle produces 1.00gph of water at 100PSI. You can see the big difference in the flow rate just within 60PSI.

Always remember, our nozzles show the flow rates in GALLONS OF WATER PER HOUR (gph). As long as your garden hose produces at least 40PSI of water, any of our nozzles will work for you.

As always if you still have any questions on our water misters or which size nozzle would be best for you, please do not hesitate to contact us!

New Product- Water Sticks

We have added a new product to our water mister line, the Water Sticks. These misters are essentially the tower from our portable low pressure water misters, without the stand. These towers are lightweight and can be mounted in a variety of places. The lightweight composite PVC material will allow you to put screws through the tower to mount it to the side of a post or tree without any problems.

The misters were originally developed so that they could be placed in areas where there was little space. Since then we have had these misters mounted to the sides of posts at restaurants and in the middle of pastures to keep horses and cattle cool. The tower can be pushed down in soft soil or placed in a dug out hole in your flower beds to water surrounding plants. The water stick is versatile and ready to help you with your water misting needs.

Available in assorted colors and in both single and dual nozzle with your choice of nozzle size.

For more information on the water sticks be sure to visit our websites listed below.

Shipping Fees To Rise on Misters

Due to increased shipping costs, we will be forced to raise the shipping rates on our portable low pressure water misters. The current rate is $25 for shipping within the USA, but this will increase to $35 for shipping within the USA later this week.

To help subsidize the increased shipping cost, we have introduced a self build kit for the portable low pressure water misters. This kit is shipped in a smaller box since the mister isn't assembled, and as a result it is cheaper for us to ship and we can pass the savings on to you. The kit is also discounted from the assembled low pressure mister price for added savings. For more information on the self build kits, please see the post above this post or visit our websites listed below.

If you plan on ordering a portable low pressure water mister, ORDER THEM NOW to save on shipping costs!

We apologize for the increased shipping fees. We hold off for as long as we can until we are forced to raise the shipping rates due to fuel surcharges.
