Australia Shipping
At this time of year we get a lot of inquires for shipping our snowmakers to Australia because it's now winter time down under. We gladly ship worldwide, but sometimes run into problems shipping a few of our products, and Australia is sometimes a problem when it comes to shipping our assembled snowmakers or portable water misters.
For International Shipping we use USPS which is the cheapest way of shipping any International orders for us. Priority Mail is usually how we ship International orders. To most areas of the world Priority Mail International isn't a problem, but some places such as Australia are problems. USPS Priority Mail International has a maximum sized girth (size of box) allowed to enter countries. For most countries it's 108 inches with the length of the box and girth combined. Our biggest box for assembled snowmakers and portable misters, is 96 inches. The problem comes in to a select number of countries, including Australia. The maximum sized box allowed in is 79 inches. So if you order a snowmaker or water mister, there is no way we can ship it to you via USPS Priority Mail. We have to use Global Express Guaranteed which is roughly $365 for shipping to Australia, almost the same rates as UPS, FEDEX, and DHL.
To help combat the problem we have several back up plans if you still want one of our products, but don't want to pay a killing on shipping. For our snowmakers, we offer self build snowmaking kits where you can assemble a homemade snowmaker out of common plumbing fittings and special snowmaking nozzles. These kits don't include a stand and all the parts fit in a small box. This allows us to ship everything to you reasonably. If you still want a professional snowmaker, you can order just the snowmaking tower directly from us and we can ship it to you reasonably priced since we can place it in a long skinny box that is less than 79" in girth and length. You will then just have to mount the tower somewhere or make your own stand for the tower. For our water misters we have our water sticks and handheld mister, which you can use in place of our portable low pressure misters.
We always love to ship to Australia, but don't like how we cannot ship certain products without having the customer pay high shipping fees. So to help we came up with the solutions above. If you have any further suggestions, please contact us and let us know!

Beat the heat with our misters!
From the Midwest to the Northeast, we are experiencing a heat wave! Help beat the heat with one of our water misters! We have most misting products IN STOCK ready to ship same day or next!
Our most popular item this summer is our portable low pressure water misters. They seem to be popular around the pool deck and on the porch to keep the outside air cool. Not only do people love them, but pets do too! Looking to cool a large area? Then consider the dual nozzle mister with our larger size nozzles. Remember, the larger the nozzle, the larger the area that will be cooled in a shorter amount of time.
If you don't have room for the portable low pressure mister with the stand then our water sticks may be right for you. They are essentially the same thing as the portable low pressure misters, but with just the tower part.
If you want to stay cool while sun tanning or sitting around the pool, consider our handheld mister with the smallest size nozzle. It won't get you drenched with water while you hold it!
If you have any questions on any of our water misting products, feel free to visit our site or contact us at contact@aquamisters.com. We would love to hear from you.
Stay cool!

Summer Snowmaking Projects
Summer is a great time to start getting ready for making snow in the winter. After all, wouldn't you rather be making snow in the winter rather then tinkering with your home snowmaking system? We've already started to have orders placed by people gearing up for the upcoming winter season. Summer time is a great time to buy our kits or plans so that you can start building your snowmaker now and work on refining it before winter gets here.
We have all of our kits in stock along with most of our snowmakers. The summer is really the best time to purchase your home snowmaker to avoid backorders that often occur in the fall and early winter months.
Check back in with us this fall to see what new products we will have available for SnowStorm Snowmaking.

Portable Mister Review
We received this email comment from Elmer in Phoenix, AZ and decided to share it with you here on our blog.
Elmer writes to us about his Portable Low Pressure Water Mister he purchased from us last fall.
"Last summer while vacationing in Las Vegas, I noticed one of your misters on an outdoor patio deck at the hotel I was staying at. I asked someone at the hotel where it came from, and eventually someone referred me to your company. I purchased one of the low pressure water misters for myself last fall. All I can say is that it is AMAZING! Thanks to your mister, we have been able to keep cool while we sit outdoors. It's better than any other misting system I have previously had. It came to us fully assembled and I didn't have to hang anything! Your mister was so great at our Memorial Day picnic that family and friends plan to order a mister for themselves.
Thanks again for everything and I hope to buy more misting products from Aqua Misters"
