Well it's finally that time of year again! The 2010/2011 Home Snowmaking Season is officially over for the Northern Hemisphere, but a new snowmaking season is just getting started for those of you in the Southern Hemisphere.
This season was a great one and most of you were fortunate enough to receive TONS of natural snow so you didn't even have to make it. Though for some die hard snow lovers, the natural snow just wasn't enough and you had to make more of it yourself!
While areas in the south didn't have a prolonged cold spell like last season, many areas got at least a few nights to make snow including areas in Florida. As one of our customers from Florida put it, "Each winter it seems to be getting colder down here." We couldn't agree more as in the past two years we've seen an increase in the amount of snowmaking equipment we've been sending to Florida.
While the snowmaking season may be over we are already getting ready for the 2011/2012 Home Snowmaking Season. We recommend checking in on our blog periodically throughout the spring and summer or joining our facebook page to stay up to date on all the latest SnowStorm Snowmaking news and events.
